Importing historical Stripe transactions can be a straightforward process when following these step-by-step instructions. This guide outlines the necessary actions to efficiently import your historical data into QuickBooks.
Step 1: Navigate to Data Feed
Begin by accessing the left-hand side menu and click on Data Feed.
Step 2: Choose Date Range
On the right-hand side of the dashboard, locate the date range selection. By default, the system is set to import transactions from the last 30 days. However, you can customize this range based on your specific needs.
Step 3: Initiate Import
Click on the Import Stripe Transactions button to initiate the import process. For users dealing with a substantial volume of transactions, it is advisable to allow the software a few minutes to complete the import.
Important Note: Your Stripe transactions are imported but not automatically synced to QuickBooks. The next steps explain how to sync the transactions after a successful import.
Step 4: Monitor Import Status
Once the import is complete, all transactions will be visible in the Ready To Sync tab, each tagged with a Ready To Sync status. This tab serves as a staging area for your imported data.
Step 5: Sync Transactions to QuickBooks
To sync one or multiple transactions, click on the Sync to QuickBooks button. Once completed, you will see the transaction status changes to Synced.
